Title: Goya's Imagery
Format: Generative audiovisual installation‭ (‬fresnel acrylic screen‭, ‬HD projector and computer‭)
Year: 2006

The installation is based on a diptych whose images propose an imaginary trip into Goya’s memory. Taking two elements of the etchings, such as the plates and the captions, the author invites the spectators to discover the different phases of the production of etchings. Using an intellectual device, the work invites to reverse the process of materialisation of the image—from the sheet to the plate, from the plate to the artist’s gesture with the stylus— to ultimately penetrate into Goya’s memory, where all the mental representations of the engravings cohabit.
